About
SPROUT Executive Committee
The SPROUT Executive Management Group convened in 2002 and consisted of a small working group of research administrators from major research colleges. Later, it expanded to include a representative from all research active colleges on campus. Since then, an invitation has been sent to all colleges. While some remain unfilled, the invitation to join remains open.
The executive management group meets monthly during the academic year to discuss key areas of interest to the MSU research community and provide input to OSP/CGA, CORD and ORI. Other activities include providing updates and information via the SPROUT Listserv as well as arranging and developing both off and on-campus training opportunities for Research Administrators and other support staff who have responsibilities for research proposals, grants, contracts, pre and post award administration and related activity at Michigan State University.
